Electronic Evidence Discovery
Forensic Technology

Information required for legal proceedings or internal investigations is scattered amongst non relevant documents and records such as e-mail, transaction ledgers, instant-messages and financial spreadsheets. Adding to the challenge of identifying required records is the fact that they might be stored in differing technological formats varying by location or the time the record was generated. Evidence also can be contained in central archives, on an individual’s personal computer or removable media anywhere in the world. All of this means a successful electronic discovery program is part art and part science.

Daylight’s team of e-discovery experts have the technological and procedural experience to identify and preserve evidence and present it in a clear and concise manner using strict chain of custody procedures that ensure evidentiary integrity. Many of Daylight’s e-discovery reviews are conducted with the cooperation and supervision of internal and external legal counsel, who provide guidance on the breadth of the matter and help determine which records are germane and must be preserved or shared with opposing counsel. With offices in the United States and the European Union, Daylight is uniquely qualified to conduct investigations and provide electronic discovery services meeting legal and regulatory demands wherever the data may be.
