James Hatchard is a Director with Daylight in its London office. He has over 10 years of investigative, advisory, litigation and financial auditing experience.

Before joining Daylight Forensic, James was with a forensic practice at a “Big Four” accounting firm specializing in anti-money laundering (“AML”) and sanctions compliance engagements. He has been involved in compliance and remediation projects in the United States, Australia, Europe and Asia.

James has significant expertise in the assessment, development and implementation of policies and procedures for compliance with local and international AML rules and regulations. He is also active in the assessment of customer screening and transaction monitoring applications.

Prior to arriving in New York, James was based in Australia where, in addition to AML, he was an auditor and then litigation and forensic consultant providing dispute advisory, investigatory, and fraud risk management services to clients across a number of different industries.

He earned his bachelor degrees in both accounting and management (marketing) from Flinders University and the University of South Australia and is qualified as a Chartered Accountant (Australia) and Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist.
