Andrea Bonime-Blanc
General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and Corporate Secretary
Andrea is the general counsel, chief compliance officer and corporate secretary of Daylight Forensic & Advisory LLC. She supervises the legal, compliance and governance matters of the firm and has two decades of legal, transactional and compliance experience at leading international law firms and companies.
Prior to joining Daylight, Andrea served as chief ethics & compliance officer for Bertelsmann, where she established and launched the global ethics and compliance program for 100,000 employees in 60 countries for operations covering publishing, music, magazines, television, manufacturing and technology. Andrea previously served as general counsel and head of compliance, external relations, and environmental, health & safety for the global division of PSEG. In addition, she practiced law at Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton LLP and King & Spalding LLP where she specialized in international project financing.
Andrea serves on the Board of Directors of the Ethics and Compliance Officer Association (ECOA) and is chair of its Global Strategy Committee. She is co-leader, co-author and co-editor of the recent ECOA publication The Ethics and Compliance Handbook: A Practical Guide from Leading Organizations and has written and edited several books and many articles. She is Vice Chair of the Conference Boards Global Council on Business Conduct, a life member of the Council on Foreign Relations, a member of the Ethics Committee of the USA Archery Association (a member of the U.S. Olympic Committee), and a member of the Board of the American Association for the International Commission of Jurists. Over the years, Andrea has leveraged her upbringing in Europe and fluency in Spanish to work throughout the Americas, Europe and Asia.
Andrea is adjunct faculty at NYUs School for Continuing and Professional Studies. She holds a Joint J.D. in Law and PhD in Political Science from Columbia University.
